Tangram Welcomes Early Intervention Services

Feb 16, 2024 | Community Resources, News

Tangram’s early intervention ABA program provides children ages 2-6, with the therapeutic supports necessary to maximize growth and development. Each child’s individual needs will be met with play-based curriculum, natural environment teaching, and assent-based ABA learning. The development and generalization of social skills, speech and language, gross and fine motor skills, cognition, daily living skills, and school readiness skills are embedded into the program. Staff who support the program are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst’s (BCBA’s).

“We are thrilled to add Early Intervention services to the Connie J. Dillman Center for Autism and Behavioral Health. The importance of early diagnosis and intervention is key in improving a child’s development. The use of play-based intervention, to expand language development and social engagement, is an integral piece of early intervention services. We look forward to offering services in the home, community, and school-based environments. Center services will be available in the near future.”

– Kari Sheward, Vice President of Behavioral Health and Clinical Services
