Our Disability Awareness Month Mission Moment is a photo journey through Lafayette with two infectiously happy people and their advocate, friend, and photographer.
Brad and Rita are roommates and recently moved into a new house together. They wanted to take some photos together to put in their new home and Kristen, their staff member, was happy don her photographer hat for the day to capture these colorful images of the pair, out and about in their hometown.
Kristen was proud to share her photos, saying that she wanted to highlight the great things happening in Lafayette. “The Lafayette people are amazing and I love to show off my amazing clients,” she said.
Brad and Rita are vibrant people who bring smiles to all who know them. For Indiana Disability Awareness Month, we can’t think of a better story to share than one that shows two individuals living joyfully and the people, like Kristen, who provide the support and encouragement to make this happen.
