Angella Tyler, CPA, President/CEO

Angie is a graduate of Indiana University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She started her career in public accounting, moved on to corporate accounting, then settled in the not-for-profit healthcare field. Angie brings over 15 years of not-for-profit and healthcare accounting experience to her role as President/CEO of Tangram. For the past 5 years, she has overseen all fiscal responsibilities for the organization, including payroll, financial statement processes, accounting responsibilities, taxes and audits. She is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the Arc of Indiana. Angie and her family are especially passionate about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, as she is the mother of a young man with disabilities.


Krystal Belton, MBA, Director of Compliance and Risk Management

Krystal Belton has extensive experience in accreditation compliance. Before joining Tangram in 2017, she spent 10 years managing the compliance department for Harrison College, which included 14 campus locations. At Tangram, Krystal oversees areas in compliance policy, procedure, reporting, and auditing and works closely with Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. She received her MBA in Management from Indiana Tech in 2005. Krystal lives in Indianapolis with her husband and one son.  She has a second son attending Purdue University.


Kathy Bernhardt, Managing Director, Tangram Business Resourcing

Kathy has over 15 years of successfully establishing corporate and community relationships in both Illinois and Indiana. Kathy’s entrepreneurial passion, drive and vision helped Tangram implement Tangram Business Resourcing, a consulting service that helps businesses establish diversity-inclusive workplaces.

Kathy leads this valuable service and provides consultation in a variety of areas to help strengthen businesses and their employment structures. Kathy’s work is focused on disability and inclusion and developing disability outreach initiatives for companies. Most recently, Kathy has been the project lead for a disability inclusion initiative for a national retail chain and an energy company. Kathy is responsible for building partner relationships and strengthening connections throughout a variety of businesses and their communities. Through her strategic communications and marketing initiatives, Kathy enhances the goals of the businesses with whom she works and creates community-based cultures that recognize the importance and the value of inclusive workplaces.

She has been an avid volunteer and active member of the communities in which she lives. Most recently, Kathy has received the Kiwanian of the year award by the Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis, which she is a member. She is also a current Board Member of the Kiwanis Foundation. Kathy is a member of the USBLN, APSE, and Indiana ILG.

Kathy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University.


Stephanie Buttler, Director of Behavioral Health

Stephanie Buttler brings 15 years of experience in the field of disabilities to her role as Director of Behavioral Health. Stephanie started her career as a Waiver Case Manager before joining Tangram’s Behavioral Health team in 2006. She has held various roles within this department, from department coordinator to Behavior Clinician overseeing first Supervised Group Living Behavior Services then Waiver Behavior Services at Tangram.

Stephanie’s varied, in-depth experience in the field of disabilities and her management skills made her an excellent candidate to take on the role of Director of Behavioral Health Services at Tangram in 2015. Stephanie uses a team-based approach with positive behavior supports to help create full, meaningful lives for the individuals Tangram serves, which is the focus of Tangram’s mission. In this position, she oversees over 100 individual behavioral health cases and is responsible for clinical oversight of Tangram Life Coaching. She is also a Life Coach for Tangram Life Coaching.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Marian University, and recently earned her Masters of Arts in Special Education from Ball State University. She is also a member of the Indiana Association of Behavioral Consultants (IN-ABC).

Stephanie is married with two children and enjoys being with her family in her spare time.


Ari Campbell, Director of Operations

Ari joined Tangram as Director of Operations in 2015 as part of an initiative to increase support to Program Management and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). With over 15 years of experience in Medicaid Waiver home- and community-based programs and over 12 years of management experience, Ari brings valuable insight to her role and focuses on improving service delivery by creating sustainable solutions for the individuals we serve.


Like many others in this field, Ari began her career as a DSP and has never lost passion for this work. She was also trained at the Indiana Resource Center for Autism as a local autism team member tasked with providing trainings to individuals working with those on the autism spectrum. In her current role as Director of Operations for Tangram, she oversees the community living and supported group living services of over 60 individuals.


Ari holds certificates in both Developmental Disabilities and Human Services. She is currently enrolled at IUPUI and will obtain her Bachelor of Arts next year.



Carol Christopher, Director of IT

Carol has spent her entire career working with people with disabilities in a variety of capacities. After more than two decades of experience in direct service and management for disability programs, Carol began working in Information Technology at a local non-profit agency 18 years ago. Her unique combination of experience in programming and IT allows Tangram to create solutions that directly benefit our clients and to tailor our IT solutions so that program staff members have what they need to effectively provide services. Carol has been instrumental in implementing policies and procedures related to information technology assets and implementing a new client database system from the ground up. As the IT Director for Tangram, Carol makes strategic technology development plans to meet the needs of the organization, leads implementation and setup of the data network, and executes maintenance of all network computers and printers. The Tangram IT department supports more than 100 workstations and 180 staff in Tangram's administrative office, three Tangram group homes, and approximately 54 sites within the community. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Evansville and a Master’s degree from Butler University.



Steve Clossey, Director of Employment Initiatives

Steve brings over 17 years of experience working for human service organizations in Indianapolis with extensive experience brokering, coordinating, and ensuring quality services for individuals with disabilities and their families. His work has included case management services, facilitating programs that fostered transitions from high school to work for students, strategic planning, and program evaluations. Steve is managing the business development for the organization and strives to promote both the value and image of Tangram. He also directs and manages the property and assets of the organization. Additionally, Steve exemplifies all of the qualities of a highly effective life coach, another service he currently provides for Tangram. He is a good listener, demonstrates consistent and persistent follow-through, has outstanding interpersonal skills, and has an outstanding network of colleagues. Another valued asset to his life coaching services is that he is a life-long central Indiana resident who is well connected to his community. Steve is a graduate of Butler University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Public and Corporate Communication.



Stephanie Gabbert, Director of Finance

Stephanie started her non-profit accounting career in 2006, and joined Tangram in 2016.  She earned her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting from Indiana University Northwest.   She has ten years of experience in many areas of non-profit administration such as Human Resources, grant writing, and IT functions.  At Tangram, Stephanie oversees all fiscal responsibilities and Human Resources including payroll, preparing financial statements, and coordinating all audits.  Stephanie has a focus on providing reporting to all levels of leadership with relevant information to facilitate better decision making on a programmatic level.   She likes to focus on process improvements, and is always looking for ways to make organizations run smoother and more cost-efficiently.  Stephanie lives in Pendleton with her husband, and she is the proud mom of twin girls.



Peter Zubler, Director of Operations

Peter has more than 20 years of experience managing resources and supports for children and adults with disabilities. Prior to working for Tangram, Peter worked with the Indiana University Institute on Disability and Community and as a Medicaid Waiver case manager. He has consulted with high schools on youth transition programs and has provided counseling to endangered children in home settings and treatment centers. Peter joined Tangram in 2005 in order to implement Tangram's unique service delivery model for every client served across our communities. Currently, Peter oversees the services of over 150 consumers participating in Tangram's community services and supported group living programs, along with Tangram's customized employment initiative, to ensure that services meet the Tangram mission. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and an Area Certification in Environmental Studies from Indiana University.
